Without destroying our economy and state, can we sustain our present level of government spending in foreign aid, domestic programs, Social Security, Medicare, welfare, foreign presence in the Middle East, South America, South Pacific, Asia, Europe, Africa, etc etc?

Who are you voting for in the general election?

I'm undecided - I don't like either of the candidates running, and am quite inclined to believe that it may not even matter which one is elected...though McCain would probably be better than Obama, but it's hard to say. I would find it very difficult to actually vote for McCain. It would be more of a voting against Obama. I'm more inclined toward a write-in/third party candidate but I'm undecided as of yet.

This seems pretty straightforward to me. What argument do the gun control supporters have that would overpower this? Why do they think they are right and can win?
