The runoff elections continue to rage. In our neck of the woods an epic between good evil occurred. Tom McClintock sought to take control of a California district, but the democrats united together behind our very own Charlie Brown. Surely little Charlie and Snoopy would have known better than to side with the wicked. Perhaps this is just a crummy democrat in disguise or perhaps the name was just a ploy to get more votes. If so, it almost worked. After nearly a month of counts, McClintock was ...

The Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution:

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

IMO, this is one of the most ignored amendments in the history of the United States. Just look at some of the events in our nation's history in light of this amendment...the Civil War, for instance. I think this lays out State's Rights pretty plainly...

One of my favorites is entitled "Old Abe Lies Sick in Bed." *WARNING* Song may be upsetting for Lincoln lovers.

Old Abe lies sick, old Abe lies sick, old Abe lies sick in bed . . . He's a lying dog, he's a crying dog with murder in his head . . .

verse 2: Jeff Davis rides a big fine horse Abe Lincoln rides a mule . . . Jeff Davis is a gentleman Abe Lincoln is a fool . . .

To look specifically at Iraq as an example, I think all Christians would agree that Sadaam was wicked and needed to be punished, but moral ...

I have the pleasure of being in Iowa this week. The "public" television station (better described as a station supported by money stolen from taxpayers) hosted a GOP debate. It was hosted by the Des Moines Register which is a very anti Christian newspaper. The format was atrocious. I thought debate used to mean that the candidates would interact with eachother. In this one the moderator asked questions and gave candidates anywhere from a whole minute to 30 seconds to answer. What ...
