Forum members,

Please remember to be in prayer for our nation as tomorrow Barack Obama will take office as President of the United States. I urge you, keep our government in your thoughts and prayers, not just in this time of transition between executive leaders, but at all times and in all circumstances. Great changes and great struggles are in store for our nation, and we as Christians have a responsibility to the United States to diligently and fervently seek God's face and plead for ...

On Monday, Senator Obama uttered one sentence that could haunt him until Election Day. He said of Senator McCain and Governor Palin telling voters they would bring change, “they must think you’re stupid.” Given his stances on the surge, social issues, and his past, Mr. Obama will regret those words.

So I want to see what ...

While I find many of his economic policies very attractive, too many of his social views are either unwise or blatantly unbiblical for me to support him.

Many of my fellow forum-goers will attack me with gusto but hear me out.

First of all 90% of his platform invlolves things he would have no control of as president.

If you think he can deliver on his platform you need to be slapped.

In this present election, a large number of people list the War in Iraq as their number one issue. It has risen time and again to the top of the debates.

My question is this:

Is it possible to 'win' the war in Iraq. By 'win' I mean, establish a 'constitutional republic' (incorrectly referred to as democracy). Is an overwhelmingly Islamic culture capable of ruling themselves justly? Are we merely setting up a template for Sharia Law? Will we merely create a puppet government, ...
