You've got to be kidding me. . .

Post by ElizabethBennet on Fri Jan 16, 2009 4:08 pm

Have y'all seen this? They're proposing an amendment to the Constitution to repeal the twenty-second amendment (thus removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual can serve as President). Surprised

All hail, Dictator Obama, leader of the "greatest nation" in the world. Rolling Eyes Yeah...no, actually not. 1.2 million legally slaughtered children per year doesn't really give me much reason to love a place. I prefer Ireland/N. Ireland where it's illegal. Better yet, let's go to Poland where it's illegal, cold, and they have snow too. And they speak like Tuvia.

Wylff,
1. President Obama, whether we agree with him or not, is still our President and deserves our respect and prayer.
2. Your post was off topic and unnecessary in this thread.
3. Romans 13:1-7

RECAP: No matter how frustrating the government may be at times, we still have a responsibility to act in a Christ-like way in how we address those problems.

He was actually talking about the topic . . . dictator was implied by the removal of the amendment in question. I think that your comments were addressed in another thread directly following the election and do not belong in this thread.

Romans 13:1-7 says that Obama is a tyrant. That being said, if the 22nd amendment is lawfully repealed, we would have to submit.
