Day of Fasting and Prayer

Dear saints of the living God,

I have received permission from the Ruling and Teaching elders of Grace Church of Pleasanton and New Life Presbyterian to call for a day of fasting and prayer. The date of this event is Friday April 3rd. I believe we should follow the model of the last day of Fasting and Prayer where we fasted throughout the day and the two churches met in the evening to pray. As of now, we have only two congregations involved in this, but I hope more can join us for there is great strength in numbers. I urge you all to consider this and tell your friends and family about it and see if you can get their churches involved. The subject of this fast will be the nation's status. My push is to pray against FOCA, but there is much else to pray for . I will be telling people about this event, but can't organize this in its fullest by myself. I'll need some help. If you have any questions or concerns, let me know. God bless you all.

p.s., for you out-of-staters, coming to California might be out of the question, but I would urge you to organize events in your respective states.
