Re: McCain
I realize now that the site only shows a record of the past year and is very biased from the liberal side. I can conclude, though, that he is a strong conservative, but supports a big government. He would stand for the many government agencies we have, though I find that a decentralized, limited government is the best. I reccomend voting for candidates that would support the removal of the many useless government agencies.
Sen. John McCain
Sen. McCain has quite a colorful record in the Navy and well as in congress. Look on the websites about Vets and McCain for some very interesting information. I have some friends who served with McCain including one who was a resident of the Hanoi Hilton for 7 years. He won't talk about McCain and in general he won't talk about someone whom he dislikes or disagrees. Sen. McCain's congressional record (especially on the McCain-Feingold bill and the Bush Tax cuts demonstrate that he is no conservative) has a lot of tarnish on it.
Look up information the the Keating Five to see what his character is. Outside of Ron Paul, I feel there is no choice for a conservative. At lease Romney has held positions in business. I feel that made him more attractive that McCain. Ann Coulter was quoted as saying that she would rather deal with Hillary that Sen. McCain. She said that she would know what to expect from Hillary.

Re: McCain
Great quote I read in the paper today from Ron Paul in regards to endorsing John McCain for president . . . "I will not back McCain unless he has a lot of change of heart. I Cannot support anybody with the foreign policy he advocates, you know, perpetual war. That is just so disturbing to me. I think it is un-American, unconstitutional, immoral and not Republican." (From the Chicago Tribune reprinted in my local paper The Valley Times)

Re: McCain
I hear that Romney gave all of his delegates to McCain. Can anyone confirm this?
This probably means that McCain will have the nomination, unless something drastic happens.

I had the feeling even before Romney dropped out.

McCain no doubt about it. Unless he withdraws it's over.

McCain Site
Since Huckabee is out, John McCain is pretty much our only choice. In order for him to win, though, over Hillary or Obama he will need everyone's help. I have a support site for him you can check out: http://addo1.johnmccain.com/

Sorry, I couldn't let this pass. If you think Huckabee is the best candidate, you can still vote for him. Write-ins are permissible.

I agree the future of our country is at stake. However what's at stake is getting Ron Paul elected. If the future of our country is at stake we need Ron Paul. He is still in the race! One of the last things we need is a democrat who calls himself a Republican!
Vote Ron Paul Hope for America!!
