The Economy
Without destroying our economy and state, can we sustain our present level of government spending in foreign aid, domestic programs, Social Security, Medicare, welfare, foreign presence in the Middle East, South America, South Pacific, Asia, Europe, Africa, etc etc?
If we can't (look at the price of gold), which should we drop first, our foreign influence or those reliant on the government domestically? Would you rather kick your neighbor out of his house and onto the street, or would you rather let Iraq sort itself out? What is the Biblical answer?

Re: The Economy
We can't fund such a war. We are too far in debt. We are waging war on an idea, an idea that will always remain. Our labors will probably be fruitless. The biblical answer would be to conduct a just war and I would argue that this isn't a just war. I would say that the security and defense of our nation is far more important than the security and defense of another country. We have been training their soldiers for 7 years. I'm sure they can do well on their own, unless they jump ship and return to their Islamic roots which is most likely. We are spreading democracy so the 50% +1 can vote for death to the infidels. Sounds great . Without a reformation of their nation through the spread of the gospel, there is no hope for them. We could use our national guard to defend our souther border instead of sending them to defend Iraq. We are being invaded and overrun by a foreign nation. I consider an act of war, terrorism of another kind. They are destroying our economy and don't follow laws. We must think of our priorities and recognize the real threat.

Actually the 'Mythbusters' proved that a lead balloon can go over and fly.
