Yes, he did. All the footage is real. It's incredibly well done, and I'm loving Obama more and more for it. You wouldn't catch McCain doing that. Not without his Cain at any rate, the old man.

I would greatly appreciate it if you would not make fun of McCain. He served our country overseas and was tortured horribly. And also, you should always have respect for your elders. This forum was made for discussing and debating current political events, not for speaking rudely about others.

But it's okay to laugh at a video that makes fun of another of our elders? The video made fun of Barack Obama. Besides that, what I said was purely a joke, made in good fun. It was a pun. I don't see how a man who is in favour of murder deserves our respect any more than Saddam Hussein and Hitler. I wouldn't respect a murderer, no matter what "good" he did. The fact that McCain was tortured does not seem to enter into this. He was tortured? He deserved that. As do we and would we if it was given us. God was punishing him, maybe in an effort to bring him to Himself.

I had no intention of speaking rudely. As said, it was meant as a joke.

We laugh at the video, but we all know that he didn't really sing, so at least for my part, I was laughing only because someone knows how to put clips together and make Obama "sing", not laughing at the senator himself. Also, making puns about people being old, in my opinion, is never in good taste.

If you watched the speech that McCain gave to the Republican National Convention as I did, you would know that McCain fully agknowledges God working on him while he was imprisoned by his enemies. He said that before he was captured, he was very prideful and thought he could do whatever he wanted without the help of anybody else. He is now a much more humble man for it, and I would not be surprised at all to find he is my brother in Christ.

As a last note, even if we do not agree with the views of those in public office, they still should have our respect in holding an office. I do not at all agree with Senator Clinton, Senator Obama, or many others but I still show them a degree of respect for the office that they hold.
