Illegal Immigration
So, politics is permeating every aspect of the world to day, even it turns out, in Spanish classes. The question today came up, Who's responsible for stopping illegal immigration? I'm of mixed oppinions, and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this idea.

I would say it is the job of the civil magistrate to enforce the laws of the land . . . provided of course that the laws are lawful.

The Federal Government has the responsibility to stop illegal immigration. So do the states along the international border. And while I am compassionate to the illegal immigrants in this country, I think that border security is crucial to national security.
