Given the question posed, I would have to say that there is a disagreement on the subject although I can not tell you I have ever heard of one. What are the arguments on this?

Yes, its surprising that this is even an issue. It didn't use to be an issue until the revisionists snuck in and criminalized the founders. Their argument is that the only way to adopt the Constitution was to ratify it in all 13 state legislatures. That is true, but they are missing something. According to Dr. Farris, the 13 state legislatures unanimously adopted a new process that allowed changes to the Articles of Confederation by 9 State Conventions, instead of the 13 State Legislatures. If that's the case, the fact that the Constititution was adopted by a sufficient amount of state conventions means the Constititution was legally adopted. I am looking for evidence to back up Dr. Farris's claim.
